Morocco Trekking
Above the berber village of Aroumd
An undiscovered mountain range and an unspoiled traditional Berber culture are what make Morocco Trekking such an exciting experience. The Atlas Mountains are one of the world’s foremost trekking adventure destinations. Only two hours from Europe, this exotic landscape is just waiting for you to discover.
Allow us to share with you the beauty and uniqueness which make these hidden valleys, arid mountainsides and green oases such a unique holiday experience.
From a day walk of cultural and natural discovery, to a full seven days of trekking through Atlas villages terminating in an ascent of North Africa’s highest peak, jebel Toubkal, we have the experience and local knowledge to offer you the trek of a lifetime.
As western guides living in Morocco and speaking the local language, we have the unique position of being able to bridge the two cultures and give you a deeper and more fulfilling experience than with other outfits.
Trekking over multiple days gives you the opportunity to get higher and deeper into the Atlas Mountains. You will walk through stunning Berber villages perched on the edge of valleys, and even stay in some. The traditional hospitality of the locals is yours to be enjoyed, and your trek will often culminate with the ascent of a significant peak, or quite possibly Jebel Toubkal itself.
We can offer you a choice of several multi-day journeys which are proven favourites, taking in classic lines of approach to the higher mountains.
Alternatively, should you require something more pesonalised then please get in touch and we will be pleased to tailor a trip specially for your requirements.
We pride ourselves on the fact that we pay our local staff a fair wage, and insist that our muleteers are trained in the humane treatment of their animals (In collaboration with The Donkey Sanctuary).
