Booking Conditions

Guide’s decisions

In booking with us, you have the security of knowing that you have a professional guide accompanying you and keeping you safe. Because of this, any decisions made which change your itinerary are purely at the discretion of the guide. The guide will try to explain the reasons to you but some of those reasons may not be evident to you, this is why you are employing a professional. The guide’s word and decision is final.

Weather

We try our best to inform you of changes to weather which might affect your adventure with us. However, we cannot be held responsible for weather conditions which change the nature of your trip. We will always do our best to provide an experience to the value of what you have paid for.

Winter Mountaineering trips: The winter season in Morocco technically lasts from November to March. Some years there is lots of snow, some years there is not much. We will still take you out regardless of conditions, but do bear in mind that in early and late season there may not be much snow. We are unable to refund trips where the weather was not what was expected, since our time, logistics and personnel will all be working and being paid, regardless of the snow or lack of it.

If you decide not to go ahead with your trip then the above cancellation conditions apply.

We advise you to keep an eye on the weather forecasts, some good ones are below:

Photographs

In this technical age we often take photos of our activities. We will send you any pictures which we take of you, via WhatsApp or e-mail. Your pictures may possibly be used on our website or facebook pages to give future customers an idea of the activities we organise. Should you not want pictures of yourself appearing on our pages, please let us know before departure.

Health Form and Participation Statement

All customers are required to fill in a health form and to agree to the Participation Statement. This will be sent you as an online form to fill in.

Applicable Law

Wild Goose Adventure SARL is a Moroccan registered company and has no representation outside of Morocco. Whilst we offer you European-qualified leaders, any incident or claim must be settled in Morocco under Moroccan jurisdiction.

Thankyou for booking with Wild Goose Adventure!

Cancellation on your part

If after booking an activity with us, you later decide to cancel, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation 3 months in advance: A full refund will be given, minus a 10% administration charge.

Cancellation 1-3 months in advance: the 30% booking deposit will be retained, other monies will be refunded. If we are sucessfully able to fill all of your dates with another booking, we will refund you everything except a 10% administration charge.

Cancellation less than 1 month in advance: We are unable to refund you any monies paid to us.

No-Show: If for any reason we are unable to contact you during the week prior to departure, and thus unable to finalise arrangements with you, this will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be given.

A no-show is when you fail to turn up at the agreed pick-up point, and we are unable to find your whereabouts or contact you.

Cancellation on our part

In the rare event that we have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund you in full all monies which you have paid to us.

Unfortunately we cannot refund other parts of your holiday, including bookings with other companies, accommodation or transport outside of the package you booked with us.

Changes to the itinerary

During your experience you may wish to change some aspects of your trip. We are happy to discuss this and try to make the best decision for you so that you have a wonderful time.

Should the changes incur additional costs, these are fully payable by you, in cash, in advance.

Any changes made during the trip which result in you spending less days with us than booked, will not be refunded by us. Additional charges incurred are payable by you. For example, if you booked a 5-day trek but decide after 3 days that you have had enough and want to return to Marrakech, that’s fine. But we can’t refund you for the two days you didn’t walk. And we cannot offset anything against the costs you will incur for additional nights in Marrakech.

Sickness and Injury

You are required to have medical insurance which covers emergency evacuation from the mountains.

In the event of accident or injury, we will collaborate with your insurance company and with local logistics to ensure that you are taken care of whilst you are under our responsibility.

In the event of sickness or injury preventing you from completing the experience which you booked with us, no refunds can be given.
